Ennis Traffic Safety Solutions
The Ennis Legacy – Company Guide
For more than a century, Ennis Paint and its legacy companies have set the standard for quality pavement markings and earned laudable reputations for their business ethics and integrity. A desire to grow and increase the product lines available to customers caused Ennis to acquire North American manufacturing plants from respected names, such as Avery Dennison road markings, Stimsonite, CenterLine, Cataphote, Laurentide, Ibis, Lafarge markers and Pervo Paint. Their addition to the company has contributed to its ongoing success and enhanced its growth potential.
In 2006, Ennis expanded its business model globally with the purchase of the Prismo Group in the United Kingdom. In 2009, it purchased GT Industries of Australia. Broadened product lines necessitated an update to the company name to better reflect it as a global leader. Known as “Ennis” for many years, Ennis Paint Inc. and its subsidiaries and partners abroad changed their name to Ennis Traffic Safety Solutions in 2010 to better reflect a mission to offer cost-effective, engineered solutions.
Chairman and CEO Bryce Anderson, Global Director John Anderson and, since 2007, the Brazos Private Equity Partners, LLC, own and operate Ennis Traffic Safety Solutions from corporate headquarters based in Dallas, Texas. The spirit of the American entrepreneur is alive and well in a team of some of the greatest technical and commercial talents in the traffic safety industry. Their leadership fosters and drives a commitment to develop new and improved technologies and innovative commercial offerings. The consolidation of the most respected pavement marking legacies and the people who made them great have made it possible for pavement markings to be considered a primary measure for ensuring the safety of the driving public. Ennis is proud of its heritage and the contributions its team has made to the evolution of the pavement marking industry.
